Too much belly fat is unsightly, and can make a person feel uncomfortable with themselves and the way they look. Apart from the superficial, extra fat where you don’t need it can pose a serious health risk as well: increasing the chances of coronary disease and heart attack. To eliminate belly fat isn’t very easy, but luckily there are diets available that can effectively help you get rid of your fat and keep it off.

Going on a belly fat diet means completely cutting off all the fats available from processed foods and a great deal of the fats that are available from home-cooked meals. Junk foods must be entirely eliminated from your diet, and sugary waters high in calories should be cut down on as well. When cooking, always use vegetable oils or extra virgin olive oils to help keep the good fat in your body and get the bad fat out. Eating vegetables and salads are also important, as they are filling and low in calories and can even help increase your metabolism.

What most people don’t know is that there are foods available to you that can help burn fat. These foods include fruits such as watermelons, cranberries, apples, and even grapefruit. Eating fruits and vegetables every day will not only help you lose belly fat but will also improve other aspects of your health as well, such as blood circulation and skin condition.

Eating food high in fiber will help you think less about snacking for the feeling of “fullness” that they provide. Nuts, cereals, and beans are all healthy alternatives to junk food snacks, and should be made a regular part of your fat burning diet. Maintaining this diet is just as important as figuring out what to eat. Be sure to balance your meals evenly among all of the food groups and you’ll be surprised at how quickly you’ll see results.

Jogging is one of the best sports a woman can practice. It is really the thing to do if you want to have a fit and attractive body. But like every other sport, the appropriate gear is required and professional running shoes for women are certainly the back bone of the running apparel.

But is it so important to use such specific shoes? And why are there running shoes dedicated only for ladies?

Actually, running is a hard activity. It exposes the arch, the knees and the lower back to heavy pressure. As safety is one of our priorities while practicing sport, your foot should have a good cushioning. This way, the efforts exerted by the body weight on the lower parts are reduced to a minimum. Only professional running shoes for women can insure this function properly.

Practicing jogging with any kind of shoes could harm your health. For example, it can cause arch pain, “electrified knees” or heavy back pain. It can even lead to dangerous tumors sometimes.

If you think that men’s running shoes can make the deal also, you would be totally wrong. This footwear could not insure you a safe training. In fact, women’s anatomy is different from men’s so they do not have the same impact direction on the ground. Because female hips are wider, they exert more effort on the exterior part of the arch.

Since the distance between the two feet is shorter than the hips width, the weight direction is a little bit deviated to the exterior side of the lower parts.

This problem is solved with the professional women’s running shoes. They are well designed to remedy to this women’s innate anomaly. A good example would be the Asics GEL-KAYANO 14 for women. The whole GEL-KAYANO series has always been a best seller and the feedback always positive.

Now that you realize the importance of professional running shoes to avoid any health issues, you will never fall for a pair of shoes just because it looks trendy or has the “right” price tag on it. You know lastly that your health comes first!

Maintaining a regular fitness routine and doing cardio training will strengthen your heart and improve your overall health. Most physicians, and studies, agree that exercising is the key to a longer, healthier life, and it’s also important to helping you lose body fat.

Cardiovascular exercise can help prevent the onset of problematic chronic illnesses.  Your levels of HDL cholesterol (the “good” kind of cholesterol) can actually be increased when physical fitness improves via exercise. In general, the only way to combat high LDL cholesterol (the “bad” kind) is to increase your HDL levels.

Also, regular cardio workouts can help a person maintain a healthy weight, which reduces risk factors for type 2 diabetes, osteoporosis and certain types of cancer. The point is not to be skinny – it’s to maintain a healthy weight that is best for you, and to have a strong, healthy heart without feeling like you need to starve yourself to lose a few pounds.

The Mayo Clinic recommends that individuals try to have 2.5 hours of moderate activity (or 75 minutes a week of vigorous aerobic activity) spread out over the course of a week.  Therefore, if you aim to exercise every other day, try to work out at a moderate pace (where your health is elevated, but not so hard that you cannot speak) for 30-45 minutes per session.

You do not need to join an expensive gym or sign up for a complicated program to start a cardiovascular work-out routine.  Raising your heart rate can be easy and free.  Here are some ideas: Take a brisk walk after dinner; Go to your local high school stadium and run up and down the stadium steps or jog around the running track; Actively work in the garden; Bicycle around the neighborhood; Have a family game of tag.

Before starting your cardio workout, warm-up the muscles you plan on using and then cool down when you are finished to reduce the chances of pulled or sore muscles following the workout.

By improving your ability to complete a cardiovascular workout, you improve the way your heart and lungs work together.  You will notice that your energy improves and possibly benefit from a weight loss or firmer shape.  Get out and exercise today!

Using a treadmill running machine to improve your health and fitness has it’s pros and cons; in exactly the same way as there are advantages and disadvantages to running in the big outdoors. The important thing is that you get yourself up off the couch and do something. Perhaps the best plan of all is to mix it up, and combine some outdoor running with a little bit of work on the exercise treadmill.

For many people, it is mustering up that initial enthusiasm to get running which is the most difficult part, particularly after a long day at work. Other people are sometimes a little bit self-conscious and worry that people are staring at them as they run. For both of these sets of would-be exercisers, a treadmill running machine at home can be a godsend. It becomes so easy just to get changed into some shorts, put the sneakers on and get running – if you do this, you can even watch the television while you get in shape.

A disadvantage of the treadmill running machine is that using it for every training session can become deadly boring! This is certainly the case if yours is set up in the garage or basement with no TV or anything else to occupy your mind. And of course, you lose the benefits of fresh air and running in nature, which are always exhilarating – if you live in a city, you can still usually find some good, clean air to run in if you go at sun up, before everyone sets off for work in their cars.

So the treadmill is a great facilitator when you want to lose weight and get into shape. Apart from these benefits, and improving your cardiovascular fitness, they offer some specific ones which relate to protecting your knee and ankle joints from injuries. Long runs, if repeated several times a week, on hard concrete surfaces can lead to these types of injury. A treadmill running machine will provide a softer kind of exercise, so you can concentrate on your weight loss or cardio program without the worry of damaging your knees. Remember that the major factor in preventing impact damage is your choice of running shoes, and that you should regularly replace them – at least every 500 miles.

With committed training, using both the parks and roads outside, and a treadmill running machine, you will improve your overall health and vitality and increase your energy levels and sense of general well-being. It is up to you to use the equipment available to you to ensure you keep at it.
