Effective Fitness Workout Plans

If you’re like most people, your day to day life is pretty busy. Many of us want to lose weight and get in shape, but our schedules make it hard for us to go to the gym. Fortunately, there are all kinds of fitness workout plans you can stick to and do in the privacy of your own home. You don’t need to pay to go to the gym when there is a free fitness workout plan that’s right for you.

The best fitness workout plan is going to be one that works out every part of your body, from head to toe. It’s good to alternate between cardio and strength training to get the best results. If you want to look very lean and slim you could throw some yoga in there as well. Yoga is good for the mind as well as the body. To start off, do some stretches to prepare your muscles. Then, switch on some music that really makes you want to move and do some cardio. You can run, dance, or do aerobics, it will all help to get your heart rate up and running. After you’re done with cardio you can start the strength training, but be careful not to overdo it if this is something you’re new at. Some great strength training exercises are squats, push ups and lunges. Your muscles will likely be very sore from this the next day, which is why it’s a good idea to only do strength training every other day so that your muscles get a chance to recover in between sessions.

Try to push yourself to keep up your workout fitness plan for at least three weeks. After three weeks, it should become habit and won’t be something you’ll feel like you have to push yourself to do. For the absolute best results, combine your exercise with a healthy diet. Lots of fruit, vegetables, protein, and fiber instead of the bad carbs like white flour, rice, pasta, and sweets is the best for your body. Also try to replace most of your drinks with water. You’d be surprised how many of our calories we consume each day just from the beverages we drink. If you combine healthy eating and exercise you’ll be on your way to a buff and great looking body in no time.
