Fruit Juice Recipes are a wonderful source of vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals such as flavonoids. Study after study conclusively shows that those who consume a diet high in fruits are considerably less likely to die from heart disease or cancer.
Fruit Juice Recipe #1 – Merry Berries
This juice is loaded with vitamin A, C and E. These vitamins are essential for a strong immune system to fight off colds, flu and other viruses. Wash berries thoroughly and juice. Berries are great for juicing because they need zero prepping.
Fruit Juice Recipe #2 – Berry Bonanza
Top the strawberries and wash all berries well before juicing.
Fruit Juice Recipe #3 – Strawberry Stream
Top the strawberries and peel the kiwis before juicing. Kiwis are an excellent source of vitamin C. Not only great for the immune system, vitamin C is also great at protecting our arteries from the damaging effects of free radicals. Such damage can lead to atherosclerosis and high blood pressure.
Fruit Juice Recipe #4 – The Blue Kiwi
Peel kiwis before juicing. This juice is one of my favorites, I find it to be a very tasty combo. Blueberries are a great source of phytochemicals called anthocyanins, which are also found in red wine. Anthocyanins help protect us from heart disease by strengthening our arteries and other blood vessels so that they stay younger, more elasticated and youthful.
Fruit Juice Recipe #5 – Lemony Apple Zipper
I juice the the whole apple in my juicer recipes . The skin and the core are very nutrient dense parts of the apple, so there is a lot of goodness we will lose by peeling and coring – especially fiber and flavonoids. Don’t worry the apple juice will still taste great. Use only the flesh of the lemon. This juice is a wonderful cold remedy. You can warm it up a little on a cold night and add some honey, or it is equally as nice chilled with ice cubes on a hot day.
